BIE geeft juridisch advies op het gebied van het auteursrecht in overeenstemming met de Auteursverordening 1913.<\/p>\n<p>BIP is opgericht op het eiland Cura\u00e7ao als een nationale organisatie en levert vanaf 10 oktober 2010 diensten aan Cura\u00e7ao.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Onze missie<br \/>\n<\/strong>Bij Bureau Intellectuele Eigendom Cura\u00e7ao stimuleren wij de sociaal-economische, culturele en technologische vooruitgang in Cura\u00e7ao door middel van:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>de bescherming van intellectuele eigendom<\/li>\n<li>het bevorderen van creativiteit en innovatie<\/li>\n<li>integratie met het lokale ondernemersecosysteem<\/li>\n<li>co-creatie van initiatieven op het gebied van intellectuele-eigendomsrecht<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wij zijn vastbesloten te blijven voldoen aan nationale en internationale regelgeving om een leidende rol te vervullen in de bescherming van intellectuele eigendom.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Onze visie<br \/>\n<\/strong>De visie van BIP voor Cura\u00e7ao is een gemeenschap die voortdurend wordt ge\u00efnspireerd en gestimuleerd om te werken aan de vooruitgang van de samenleving, met BIP als katalysator voor creativiteit en innovatie door middel van de bescherming van intellectuele eigendom.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Na 107 jaar als overheidsbureau is BIP op 29 november 2000 uitgegroeid tot een openbaar maatschappelijk lichaam, waarvan de voornaamste taak was om handelsmerken en octrooien op de Nederlandse Antillen te registreren voor particulieren, binnenlandse en buitenlandse bedrijven.Dit is mogelijk op basis van de Merkenlandsverordening 1995, het Merkenlandsbesluit en de Rijksoctrooiwet 1995.
